Our life is very colourful. Even during the darkest times, we feel either grey or blue or black. We feel the colour without even stopping to think about it. Life keeps us busy performing multiple roles at the same time. We are grand parents, parents, children, siblings, friends, neighbours, work mates and homemakers. We have been created from dust and from water and as wise men once said, dust can settle anywhere and water adapts to its surroundings. This is a great similitude of our unique qualities. It does not mean that our resilience can be taken for granted, for almost everyone has heard of dust storms and floods. It means that as individuals we can hold our own. Circumstances can move us and shake us but cannot uproot us. Future is unknown but not intimidating. Everyone will get there differently. We focus on our future with hope and we live in our present with humility and gratitude. We are aware of our imperfections but our hope gives us the confidence that it is never too late to pick up the pieces, move forward and go with the flow...
